Shooting Pussy tonight
Discussion
The BBC rang up this afternoon to say I'd won tickets to see Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman) in tonights show, Kingfisher
Whats the bet our "free seats" will be several kilometers from center stage. And that my 70mm lens not only wont reach the stage, but wont be able to capture anything at all without IS. Im going to take my camera anyway just in case.

Hope you have a great time-let us know what the show was like?
Ello mate!
Finally signed up then eh!
Welcome to the madhouse
I wasnt expecting any "saw your name on telly, and know what you did tonight" emails when I got home
Pistonheads meet Mick! Shame on him for not bringing his TVR wedge out of "storage" this summer. Abuse him, and give him the bollocking he deserves! I think I mentioned him last month, the chap who spent an entire day supervising a pizza shoot. He appreciates stock work, and is therefore one of my few/only friends in life
The show/storyline was just ok, but the performances were fantastic, and Pussy... christ almighty(!) she was absolutely stunningly incredulously gorgeous (as far as 79 year olds go!!) She looked better than my grandmother did 55 years ago!
She had a better body than many "in-shape-ish" 45 year olds. Slim as you like, curvy, still pretty, with a gorgeous husky voice. Defying nature, she still had her looks too(!?!) and must be one of the best looking 79 year old women alive today, literally! She looks better than most actresses and former supermodels that are 15-30 years her junior do. Not that Im into great grandmothers you understand (really im not
) but she was definitely bond girl material. My camera would have been welcome, although no shots were allowed during performance. They were all very friendly, to the point of being almost apologetic when I mentioned that I didnt bring my camera in case it wasnt allowed inside.
The good news is that the stage manager has agreed to let me book the entire theatre to myself for a photo shoot by special arrangement, ie with no other people around, I just need to book it in advance and its all mine... for free!
They will even turn on all the lights. Its quite nice inside too (I dont go to theatres often so take that last comment with a pinch of salt) So if anyone wants to come along and join me for an architectural/stock shoot (in brighton) or possibly even bring a model (ed?) let me know
