guys, took a few pics ! at Silverstones F1 test day.
A great day out in glorious sunshine

Im a bit concerned that im doing something wrong resizing for the net.......
i use CS, crop/rotate slightly then batch them at 998 pix then 'save as' at 9 on quality.
Am i doing this wrong ?

ideas please..........or alternative ways, there are so many pics online that are pin sharp and only 80k !!

my pics here at www.pbase.com/elliot_d/silverstone_formula_1_testing_f1

Great pictures there I'm impressed you're getting such good image quality with both those teleconverters on! IMO could perhaps do with a bit more saturation or contrast on some, but otherwise great

Not sure what you're worried about with the batch processing. To me it seems it's doing a great job especially if the files are only 80k. You're never going to get the results in a batch that you'd get individually obviously because every photo is different, but for quick uploads I'd say what you're doing is fine

These look pretty good to me. IF you are bothered by them not looking as sharp as you would like, after your resize in the batch process, apply a little sharpening. Any 800px pictures on the web that look sharp are because they have been sharpened, even a crap soft photo can be made to look pretty good at 800px wide!
