Calm down, calm down, just kidding hehe

We know you're reading Andy

Come on then chaps (and ladies) Whatever it was that made the PH photo/video forum such a special/great place before, Im sure it can be just as enjoyable in the future, tomorrows a new day, and all that yes

What made it such a great place before then? I wasnt here, throw me some keyword hints. If we can turn the noise down long enough to discuss sensibly, Iso want to know. Take turns to give your .25c worth etc. If anyone has a great deal to say, I'll stock up on beer and promise to read your micro analysis. Something to do with cameras, am I getty close? Just submit your comments, and I'll review them within 3 days as my gf and I are sailing for port Folio tonight.

Sorryyyyy! I already fled without my coat and hat once tonight, thought Id pop back in to get em.

LMFAO! Hook, line, and sinker

A few keywords:

Pin hole photography, Leica Rangefinders, medium format, street shooting, ND grad filters, travel photography, onions... oh!

I'm sure others can add more

And I did enjoy your Phaeton pics, I look forward to more!!

Nonetheless, IMO car pics seem to be pretty rare on this forum.....

Nice light in that picture.

Problem with car photography is access to something interesting enough to be worth shooting. You can overcome a boring car with a certain amount of creativity but it's hard to take interesting pictures of a Nissan Micra!

I'm off to the Nurburgring via Spa in a couple of weeks, we were going to take my Pug but we've decided to lord it in the Phaeton instead, should be a laugh and I hope to get some good pictures on the way.

If i may be so bold, i would have shot this with a longer lens and a wider aperture to lift it off the background a bit more.

Re focal length: impossible chap, unless I knocked down the DLR station behind me Focus: I wanted to keep the background in focus - a creative difference of opinion I guess!

Don't you find the panel imperfections on the doors annoying ? . . . unavoidable with the angle the light was hitting them . . . but . . .
