What's out in Japan?

[Phil S]

My sister is off to Japan next week and wants to know if I need anything bringing back. I fancy a new compact/camcorder so was wondering if there are any sites showing what is available over there and how much it sells for. Kind of like a dpreview for their stuff!

Thanks for any help!

Dried squid?

ETA: seriously, make sure that any equipment that you are after will be useable in the UK. Stuff like the fantastic Japanese camera phones with TV on them will not work in the UK.

Akihabara is the place to go. Just Google it, and you'll find lots of information.
