Night-time Supra pic
Discussion
Took the dogs out and saw a Supra through a gap in the hedge. Went back and got camera and quickly snapped it.
It's not ideal as I only took the one shot on a long exposure, mainly because I was tired and not really up for spending 30mins setting the shot up. I've quickly cropped the pic to frame it better but no other photoshopping. However, I very rarely do any night-time photography and would really like to improve. The shot looked great through my eyes, but not as good through the camera.
Any tips/advice/etc gratefully recieved

Didn't want this to go down without a reply, so here are my thoughts:
Firstly, the image is way too busy - there's no real focus. I can kind of see that you were possibly trying to frame the subject with the surrounding trees/bushes, but on this occasion it hasn't worked. The car has ended up getting lost.
Secondly, above the car appears to be a white van. This takes your eye away from the car, as it is human nature to seek out the lightest part of the image - in this case, the street light, and the white van. Again, the car is lost.
Thirdly, the colour. It's totally unnatural, and not particularly pleasing to the eye. If you shot RAW this is easily remedied.
I think next time you should aim to get a lot closer to the car, or use a longer lens. Really punch home what is the focal point
Hope this helps
