After much deliberation with the panel. The theme chosen for this month is:

LIGHT

I nearly went for fluid, inspired by this wet time of year, but chose light as that really is all photography is the capture of light. Please interpret this anyway you can.
And I really hope this hasn’t been done before but I did a search and couldn’t find it.
Keep up the high standard of photos.

What a great idea for a theme! I like that one.

What I don't like is the fact that I don't have much in the way of anything decent to enter. I might have to do some homework on this one. Here are a couple of shots I've got so far, any views anybody?

I think it's better when this is the case - it gets you thinking and gets you out with the camera. If memory serves, this was the entire point of the photo competition in the first place - to inspire creativity.

FWIW I like your first one of the light trails. Sunset shots don't do anything for me at all, unless there is something interesting in the foreground. Otherwise it's just another sunset picture. The last one of the sun is nice but I'm not sure about the "squareness" of the crop.
