Which PC monitor for photography / video?

[sparkythecat]

Mods, please don't move this into the Computers forum.

I'm interested to know what people are using to process their images and whether they've any recommendations.

Mrs S wants rid of my 19" CRT monitor on aesthetic grounds. She says it's like me old, unsightly and takes up too much space.

I'm thinking 19" with a budget of up to about £250.

Could get a 19" Dell for that money. Talking not a penny less but none of the less I think you could. Dell make good monitors.

For exmaple...

Look at the UltraSharp versions over the standard ones.

As well as being great monitors. The UltraSharp ones come with height adjustablility, USB ports in the monitor etc...
