I've found Surrey Photography to be pretty keen and reliable for Hoya filters

I found this one good for prices, I think P&P is included in the price too. I'm pleased with the ones I've got from there.

He's reliable, don't worry. Plus the direction of the time difference is such you probably get it quicker than you would from the UK

(ie place order this afternoon, it'll be fulfilled and despatched this evening/tonight and be in England tomorrow ready for delivery on Saturday)

Let's hope you didn't have to pay £49.99 P&P ...

I think I paid £2.99, actually. Either that or £4.99! I can't remember offhand. I was quite pleased, anyway.

Great bargain there. My Sigma F2.8 24-70mm needs an 82mm filter. The top-grade HOYAs and Sigma-recommended types all have RRPs of over £100! I'm tempted to try one of the Hong Kong ones on eBay, but worried about the quality. Anybody got any experience of these?

Personally, I steer clear of the Hong Kong stuff on eBay, but only because I don't want to have to wait for ages to get my equipment and because they tend to be very expensive as regards P&P.

As Graham said, it doesn't take long to get over here - I had mine within 3 or 4 days of ordering I think, definately quicker than I expected.
