Holiday Snaps (Probably Dial-Up Unfriendly)
Discussion
Afternoon, all.
I just had another look at my holiday photos from this summer, and I thought I'd put a couple (ie. 17...sorry...) on here. My camera is pretty modest and I'm not a particularly skilled photographer, but I'm quite pleased with some of the results. Any tips, advice or 'constructive criticism' would be greatly appreciated.
Table Mountain, Cape Town, South Africa:
Fish River Canyon, Namibia:
Etosha National Park, Namibia:
A desert somewhere in Namibia, between Swakopmund and Sossusvlei:
The Southernmost tip of Africa!
Not too sure where this was:
Sunset at Klein Aus Vista lodge, Namibia:
The Tropic Of Capricorn:
And finally, a cool picture of a sunset with the reflection of the front passenger seat of our hired Merc Vito in the window:
Hope you like them.

*nods* ace shots there dude...did you have a good time?
Yes, thanks. Namibia is breathtakingly beautiful, and South Africa was a lot of fun. Cape Town is a really interesting place. I'd've liked it even more had I not heard loads of nasty stuff about crime rates and murders!
Namibia was an eye-opener. I always thought that the landscapes which I love would all be full of colour and objects, such as a cityscape, but the emptiness and endless yellowy/orange colour of the desert was amazing! We drove down a bit of Skeleton Coast on the west side, with the sea to our right a road with mist hanging over it in front of us, and giant sand dunes to our left (which we went quad-biking on). It was utterly incredible.
I'm definitely going there again!

If the anti-aeroplane people get their way you may well be right!
