Track day camcorder

Looking for a camcorder that will mainly be used for track day action. Both in car and also general coverage of the day. Not really sure what to look for but quite like the look of:

Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1

How suitable do you guys think this will be?

No idea about camcorders per se but don't forget to budget in a proper mount. A lot of tracks won't allow in car cameras without them as they're loose objects that could cause problems in a crash.
