Studios for car photography - available to hire?

I notice a few people shooing in studios. Are you all pros or just lucky enough to have your own studio? Or can they be hired?

I would imagine most people have to hire!
A friend of mine is a pro car snapper and used to use BigShots studios which has sadly closed down.

He now uses Eastside Studios in Barking

Haven't a clue on costs of hiring...not cheap I wouldn't think.

I just sent them an email as they are not far from me. Could be interesting if a group of people are interested in getting some studio shots of their car, bike etc. not too many though. say 5 or 6.

I have spoken to them before, and they were about 600 to 800 per day depending on which studio amd what day, and i know they get very busy.

Saying that, you might have better luck than me and get a good deal, keep us all informed.

will do. I'll have a look around too. had thought about this a while ago and dismissed it until i saw this thread. Just thought that it wasn't possible to arrange somewhere big enough.

i got a price for eastside studios. £350 for the smallest studio including 1, 2 & 5k lights, studio assistant and lunch for 3. the other stages are £800 and £850. these are per day which is 9 - 6.
