Hi all,
I'm currentl getting into photography alot and am wanting to get more serious about it with a pretty decent camera.
Could anyone suggest something within my bugdget that can produce EXTREMELY GOOD QUALITY PHOTO'S.
I'm not fussed on size what-so-ever, so it doesn't have to fit in my pocket.
Within this information, could you enclose a link of the camera please, would be extremely helpful!
Thanks in advance everyone!

Hi Dan
the only way you'll get 'EXTREMELY GOOD QUALITY PHOTO'S' for that money is to buy a film SLR. There are LOADS of good ones for that price as everyone is moving to digital.
If you want to go digital and intend to get serious about it then by pushing your budget a bit you could buy a second hand Nikon D50 or a new D40. This would enable you to build up a collection of lenses over the years and upgrade the body as your budget increases.
It's a bottomless pit I'm afraid. My current kit is insured for £10k
Here's a link to info on the D40 www.red-onions2.co.uk/nikon-digital-camera-with-1855mm-lens-p-17149.html

But he does take awfully nice pictures !
The D50 does seem to be coming down in price slightly due to the release of the recent newer models. I bought mine earlier this year and I'm very pleased with it. I've had some pictures enlarged and framed for christmas presents (up to 15x10 without any problems), so the quality of pictures is very good.
I bought mine from www.cameras2u.com It arrived the next day too!
As Steve's said, it is a bottomless pit. I've already spent a small fortune on lenses and accessories since I got mine......it's very addictive!!
If you do plan on spending a lot of money on a 'proper' camera....make sure you go to a camera shop and get a 'feel' for them. Some feel less comfortable to hold than others.
Good luck!
