Having had my Nikon 7900 pinched I'm after a replacement - this seems a contender but is this extreme badge-engineering or are they the same but just another £150 or so for the Leica badged version?

I've read that the Leica can :
"Choice between autofocus (either entire focusing area or for macro), or manual with joystick,"

Does this mean that it has manual focusing rather than automatic and can the panasonic do the same thing?

I bought the Leica D-LUX 3 about a month ago and find it really great.
