hi,

hope someone can help me.

i'm after some good quality, large images of an Avro Lancaster.

it's for a good deed i plan to do for my sisters neighbour.

he was a member of a lancaster crew in ww2, he's not at all well, but he loves to talk about his memories. most of the time he is quiet, but i showed him some pictures i took at fairford, and he comes alive!

i don't think people like him get the recognition they deserve nowadays. my time with him has been a pleasure and an honour, makes you realise how easy we have it today!

the only thing is, i'd only borrowed the camera for the day. my results weren't desparately impressive!

anything you guys could do to help me out would be fantastic.

my e-mail is dylanflewis@yahoo.co.uk

mostly after flying shots.

thanks in advance

megy

I am sure Graham@reading will be along soon, he goes to a few airshows and have seen some good ones from him.

hehe Thanks. The bloke in Shady's link has captured "Mickey the Moocher" quite nicely there though. I haven't shot many of the Lancaster (there's only 2 flying in the world and one of them's in Canada). As far as bombers go, I tend to come across the B-17s more often - Sally B and Pink Lady (aka Memphis Belle and Mother & Country from the former's namesake film).

But for what it's worth...

And older pics :

If any are any use, drop me a line and I'll sort you out with the full sized, non-watermarked versions.
