One of the many reasons I like this place. Dawn is still going on at 8:30 in the winter

One of the OTHER reasons is, this is the view from the balcony

Nope... there are 2 on Skye and a few in Inverness... but he's getting a bit close for comfort

BTW - that reminds me - the PH member map doesn't work any more

Yup, that's what prompted me to dash for the camera. Took that stood on the balcony in just my pants as I'd just wandered into the kitchen for my wake up cup of coffee

Now there's a mental image for you

Steve - I'll probably be moving closer for my own gaff

Anywhere really. All I need is broadband and 1 hr / 1.5 hr at a push to a decent airport. More interested in semi rural though. If I was still up for city living, I'd be staying in Edinburgh.

Some nice Rural in Fife if you want to stay centralish (looking there myself half heartedly - need more garage space ;-)), Trossachs, especially close to Stirling (where I live) is expensive, I guess up past Strathyre costs change to more reasonable, but you're easily an hour from any airport . . . I used to live up in Aberdeen and enjoyed the locale, highest housing prices in Scotland tho' . . . I was looking at some acres up north of Lochinver recently too as a northerly base for the future . . . just need to work out how to fund it all ;-)
