...well not quite, but Pitlochry is releativley alot nearer than Croydon! Hope everyone has had a great Christmas. Not seen much light up hear apart from the first day so not many photo oppertunities. Bear in mind landscapes are not my normal fodder either! This was on the first day, Loch Faskily...

These two were taken the next morning at Killicrankie...

Lots of mist forced me to look a bit closer after that...

...and the obligatary Christmas dinner shot....

I got loads of photography books for Christmas so am really inspired to get some shoots lined up when I get back. I'll post the names of the books up and review comments when I get back

Second shot is absolutely stunning - the white trees and the sort-of cold light hidden by some foliage seem to grasp the scale of a scarred glacial landscape.

Or something like that.

Love the dinner shot (well, the others too). Particularly the way that five of the people are seemingly taking no notice of the camera, but red cardigan's there going "me, me, look at ME, stealing the veg..."

I just makes me giggle. If it *wasn't* staged, then it's even better

Thanks everyone

We're at the in-laws, my wife is from here. In the dinner pic (from left to right) the wife, her sister, her mum, her dad, her brother, her brother's wife. No staging, it was three shots and by the time I got round to her she looked at the camera

Some nice shots of a nice place.
I was there on Christmas day and had lunch on Boxing day morning in nearby Dunkeld.
Was on a bit of a tight schedule so didn't even get the camera out once.
