Question for those with Lee Filters

Sorry you don't like my answer. From what I can see both from your photos and from my Lee stuff here, there's no way of having them both on the end of a Lee mount simultaneously. In fact, how IS it mounted on the Lee mount anyway?
The hood?...it slots into one of the filter grooves.

No, the circ. It's a standard screw fit isn't it? Have you got another lens adaptor or something in the Lee holder for it?
Lens is 77mm...CP is 105mm with no way of adding anything on the front. The "adaptor" for it screws to the front of the filter holders. crmcatee said:
can you mount some more sections on to the front of the hood and screw the pol into that. Looks like the screw sizes are the same..
There is no way of fixing anything in front of the hood. The screw holes you can see on the hood are about 15mm wider than everything else.

Or maybe he has the square filter that can't rotate...
You need space in front of the CP to get your fingers in to turn it...
Nah...it's never going to work

Difficult to tell from the pics but if the bellows section is not extended is there any chance of getting to the cp then? For a given shot polariser will need to be preset anyway so compressing the hood, adjusting and then extending again would be no big deal. Still can't tell if the cp would be accessible though.
Even using 'standard' lens hoods polarisers are not usually accessible with the hood in place. Well, mine aren't.

I've seen there's a hood Lee now make with the 105mm adaptor ring built into it... (curiously though, I can't find it now... can't see it on their own or any retailers' websites - may have been on a US site).
Found it here
Nobody in UK appears to sell it though.

Oh well... send it all off to me. I'll try and find a use for it.
BTW... top tip. If you are walking accross rough terrain with an oblong filter in situ, turn it sideways so it doesn't work it's way loose and drop out into a peat bog, then to be stepped on by a dog.

you have to make your own hood if you want to use it with the CPOL.
No you don't... like I've been saying... look here
www.leefiltersusa.com/PDFs/Camera/LEEP105Hood.pdf (Lee Filters P105 Lens Hood)
. Alternatively, B+W make a circular 105mm metal screw-on hood... not ideal though, and quite shallow so only shades if the light source is virtually 90° from lens (look on Robert White).
