Looks like a good deal for backing up on the go or recording straight from a bullet-cam.

Bit cheap, what's the catch?

Oh no CF slot. Would suit a Nikon user better?

Where are we supposed to put our CF cards? (obvious answers will not be tolerated!) hehe

Oh Dear - 'Up to 2.5hrs battery life' and note the words 'up to' thats the maximum, i can see the charging getting a little tedious.

i apologise for the "interruption", but i have had the gigaOne 40g unit for aprox 18 months.

file turnover equates to thousands.

simple to use, goes out in all weathers, hardly ever needs recharging, and it has never missed a single solitarity beat....*touches wood*

probably available for around £80 ... a tad more, but well worth it.

Does the GigaOne have a screen though? I have a storage device with CF capability but never use it as it doesn't have a screen - I just can't bring myself to format my cards until I can SEE they're on the backup!
