Marwell Zoo!

It was a beautiful day...the sun beat down...I had the radio on and I was driving......to Marwell Zoo.











The sky grew dark so we went home...and well it also shut but that's neither here or there.

Any other Southerners here been to Marwell. Reminded me of childhood memories.

Long again in the summer and I'll post back.

Thats on my patch, we only live 5 miles away. We have annual passes so quite often find ourselves wandering round the zoo. Love the place, especially in christmas week when it's just us and the photographers.

Last Christmas we went, can't have seen more than 50 people, and it was a beautiful day.

The red pandas are very photogenic. When you can find them.

Used to be my turf too - Reading's only 45 minutes away. Great zoo. And you've got some great captures there too - particularly the Mandarin. Cheeky wee sods aren't they

The missus and I spend a whole day there last year, from the minute the gates opened, to us getting kicked out when they closed...

Loved the Cheetahs and Leopards...
