Previous Competition Topics / Winners

I've put together the site to store details of previous comps and the winners and runners-up.

It will be at www.phphotocomp.com

This will work for some of you right away, might take 48hrs for everyone to use that URL whilst the DNS sorts itself out. Until then you can get there via

www.binaryimage.net/phphotocomp

It might be a bit slow and / or run out of bandwidth for a few days whilst UKbob and I sort out the proper hosting.

Any comments welcomed. Any requests to remove images or whatever, please let me know. I will keep it up to date from now on.

Wow - being a newcomer, I've not seen most of these. Fantastic stuff - belated congratulations to all the winners and runners-up. Superb!

On another note, I realise it looks a bit shit in IE6 but I'll fix that at some point.

Yeah, actually it was a real pleasure going through all the previous threads, lots of fantastic images. There's a few missing where people's hosting has given up / gone away - if one of yours is missing, please do email it to me and I'll add it.

Maybe you should e-mail those folks with broken links so they can send the proper image for you to host.

In time the site will look rubbish if many of the links break.

I've grabbed all the images that were there, so there will never be any broken links. There were only a couple missing, I will email the people and ask them to send me the images.

Except Bacchus, whose profile doesn't accept email.

I can't believe it has been going so long though, as I have won one of them but it must have been in 2005 as it isn't in that lot

I will get round to doing 2005 at some point but there are a lot of missing images from that far back so it might take a while to track them all down!

Don't know how I got that wrong to be honest, as that was one of my very favourites out of all the photos I've been looking through over the past few days.
