Anyone dealt with this crowd before?

www.microglobe.co.uk/catalog/index.php

Their prices look quite good, and they have an actual shop that I can go to.

Any opinions good/bad?

Interesting that they have a Nikon D40 down as being £40 more expensive than the D80 scratchchin

it is a 'D40x' not a D40, It looks like it has a lot better specs that the D40, I'd still get the D80 though

I asked Jacobs digital to price match a lens against them and they said they wouldn't because "Microglobe lenses were grey imports". I don't know if this is the case or not and if it should even matter, but you should compare like with like. In the end jacobs have always got the price so close with a bit of haggling I've never bothered.

The "shop" near kings cross is pretty shocking though...

Rang up to buy a flash recently which was shown as in stock. They said they had none and virtually hung up on me when they realised there was no immediate sale to be had - put me off dealing with them again in case I ever had a problem.
