Rallycross and New Lens
Discussion
Had my first outing to Lydden Hill with my new Sigma 120-300 f2.8 on Easter Monday. The rally cross was great with tons of action - over 60 races throughout the day and pretty much glorious weather throughout.
As for the lens, well it's going to take a bit of getting used too, it's very heavy, and I'm now having to learn to use a monopod, something I've always tried to avoid in the past. But I think the lens great, really very sharp all the way through. The pictures below are all either at the full 300mm or further with a 1.4 TC on it. I found it hunted a little bit, but I think this was probably more to do with the dust than the lens itself.
Anyway c&c always welcome.

Nice to see an escort chasing down a porsche too

It all got a bit dusty as well...

And the best part of the day as Bellaby passes the last of the super cars, in his super modified exige 2 wheel drive to win the super final
