First of all, hats off to many here, been flicking through this forum most of the day and there are some absolutely stunning shots, great work - I've seen a few pictures I may like to use on a website (commercial) and will be contacting the owners as appropriate for permission to use. I'm developing the site myself (totally out of my field) for a relative, mainly to 'have a bash' at it.

It is based around air-heat exchange units that provide hot water from normal air (an air conditioner in reverse), so not a very romantic subject I'm afraid! I don't want the emphasis to be particularly 'environmental', although it is, but I'm looking for a few good photographs to include in the site that capture the spirit of energy from the air, heat and air, renewable energy in this context and the power of air (not wind power though!). All this without getting too 'Greenpeace' but obviously nature is a part of it.

Not a very good brief I'm afraid!! Anyway, just wondered if amongst anyones old pictures they had anything that conveyed this idea, I've come up with a few good pictures of hot air ballons but that's where my imagination ends.

Cheers for anything chucked my way fellas, (anything used will be credited obviously)

A

although i havent got any pictures that really fit the bill i would have thought somebody out there would have.

the first thing that sprung to mind when i read your post was pictures of steam rising (ie from a cup of coffee or something similar). i would expect that there are some nice pictures of that sort of thing.

The nearest I've got to balloons (apart from the load of hot air my friends say I speak that is) are these two taken at Silverstone 1995. Crawled out of the tent roused by the gas roar.

I've loads of this weekend but I'm trying to think what, in my 10,000 negatives, is appropriate to global warming. Most of my photos seem to be of cars for some strange reason.
