How do these pictures look to you?
Discussion
I'm trying to go through my Gumball shots, but each one looks darker and more contrasty than the original did. Thing is, whenever I edit my pictures in photoshop, the picture I see in photoshop is always lighter than what comes out after it's saved, and viewed somewhere else (eg internet), so getting things like the brightness and contrast right is really a guessing game for me. And to add to that I have a 6+ year old monitor. I'm sure some of you guys have some nice/calibrated monitors - how do the pictueres look? Should I adjust anything?
All I've done to all of them in Photoshop CS2 is Smart Sharpen, resize, Auto Colour, watermark, save as jpeg at 12 quality.
Edit: Taken with a 20D, and either 17-40L or 70-200 2.8 IS, all camera settings were at zero. If that matters at all

Look good to me.
The difference in display colours is due to the applications using difference colour spaces. Web is more restrictive than PS for instance. It sounds like you're not using the correct colour space in PS for export to the web. Hopefully someone else will explain a bit better!
