Need some advice here...

I've taken a number of photographs recently (last few months) that appear to have caught the eye of everyone I've shown them too... one in particular has created a large amount of interest.

I took the photo for for the foreground interest, but it's something in the background that would be of interest to a major corporation - probably for advertising material.

A semi-pro at the office reckons I should get a few quid for it, if it floats the boat of the right people at said major corp.

Do I send them a heavily watermarked, low res and see if they're interested - or do I just take it as flattery and be happy with the fact that I bagged myself a cracking photo...?

Thoughts / comments / experiences welcomed.

TIA

I've seen the pic. It's an action shot with the logo of a massive multinational in the background. Pod's acquaintance is right - it would look great on the advertising of the company.

The trouble is how to go about approaching them - it's unlikely that they will meet with him, and entirely possible that a company that size might use the image anyway on the basis that he couldn't afford to take them on in court.

Is there a standard letter and protected image format he could send?
