Which digital camera do I want to replace my old 2MP Kodak? I think it's about time for a change now that my phone-cam has nearly double the resolution ?

I do enjoy photography (on a completely amateur/opportunistic level) and I'm not scared of a camera with lots of buttons and settings rolleyes

Budget, as little as possible.... Under £150. Saying that, I will be in Florida soon and $300 will probably get me much more!

Image quality/detail when opened up full size should be sharp... And I would like to have the odd picture blown bigger than A4 and stay sharp. Not sure what res I need for that?

I saw the Fuji S5600 on sale locally for £110 which I thought was pretty decent for the features it has. But is 5MP enough these days? And the whole "pretend SLR" thing puts me off, first thing I did when I picked it up was try to twist the zoom lens, and nearly snapped it off

Just got a Fuji F30 from Amazon for £125 a little while ago. Haven't had a chance to give it a proper test drive but the test shots so far look great. From a complete amateur's point of view though! Seems fairly highly rated which swayed my decision.

The Fuji's always produce a good picture which is why I went with them and now own a Finepix A330 and S5600

I aim to try their DSLR at some point to see if I can remain faithfull to the brand, although I might end up going elsewhere for higher end stuff depending on results
