Was a good day all in all. Rain was wanting to start but the sun won through and made it a nice day.

Explored more of the viewing area than I have before. Some good photography locations through out.

Then some of you may have seen or herd about the Porsche 911 that went out during it's 1st lap.

After a bit of ardgy bardgy the 911 flipped and cartwheeled off the track, over the grass and then leaped the fence.

Luckily nobody was walking along the area it landed.

I missed the action of the crash but here's a few of the aftermath.

I saw Burt go off, but didn't get to see the wreckage till now. I am amazed how well it stayed together! Hed must have rolled four or five times then went over the fence onto the access road outside of the armco. Amazing crash and even more so considering he walked away. He has a habit of big offs at BTCC events.....

Good snaps rednut, you seem to be getting the hang of this panning stuff. You will have to give me a few pointers some day soon.

Am right in thinking that the BTCC returns to Thruxton later in the series??

18. Why Turkey is still running 5 bolt wheel as opposed to the centre lock is besides me. He seemed to take a hell of a lot longer in the pits.
