hi, good 1st effort, i think they are nice pictures
now i'm no expert, but FWIW - i think you have got a nice car and a nice location, but the location does not suit the car. it just looks a bit out of place.
having said that, i can't fault your technique as the pictures look in focus and the colours are nice and vivid. also, i think the framing works well.
i'm sure others will be along soon with some more helpful advice.
BTW - what lens do you have on your 30D?

Hi.
Good 1st shots.
Number one is my favourite.
Number two: I think the car should be more level with the tight crop. Just looks awkward angle to me.
Number three looks out of focus. Well the car doesn't look like where the camera has focused.
Number four I like but the location doesn't suit the car in my eyes. A country shot would suit more of a country car say an old defender? Yours being a modern sport car would be idea in a better location.
Keep on shooting thought as you can only improve.

Good pics but i think everyone else is correct about location shot.
Location is nice but would suit range rover sport better.
I think something industrial would be good and if you could do the back ground in black and white with the red car it would look good.
I am no expert but i have seen it work well for other piston headers.
Good luck
