The Memphis Belle was a Canon 28-70L f 2.8, and all the others were with a Canon 100-400L IS.

It was the best display of the day! Totally certifiable pilot! I'd swap my car for one I was so impressed

Dammit...I've been toying with the idea of swapping my 400L for the 100-400 IS...

(Do you turn the IS off for airborne stuff btw?)

I think you've got number 10 upside down, two clicks on the "rotate clockwise" or "rotate counterclockwise" button should sort it...

Ha ha. I admit to cheating, but only one click would take it to "as shot", and trust me...the pilot is certifiable.

Martin.

Nice pics Martin, they came out well.

Think you need full-on sun to get the super sharp ones.

Thanks for a great day out.

I actually flew in a Lynx at Fairford IAT in 1989 (only as ballast in the right hand seat).

The pilot put the cab in positions that helicopters were not meant to be in. Even when they're crashing.

Great bomber/fighter design stopped in 1942. (OK they got a bit faster)

Luckilly good camera/lens design didn't.

Great stuff Martin.

IMHO - Best sound in the world is a Lanc at full chat.
