For those of you that posted pix from the Gumball you may be interested that your images may have been lifted and posted here
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=4677...
I have written to the owner of that site trying to get mine removed and as I recognise quite a few other pix have suggested they all be removed as I doubt very much if they are posted there with the image owners permission.
This is the email address of the person you may wish to contact tim@performanceix.com]

Yeah, some of mine are on there. Not that mine were particuarly great but I know they're mine because they actually have me, my girlfriend my friend in some of the shots!

I'm pretty sure they are linked direct to your photohosting account, so you could easily remove or rename the folder.

I've found a couple of mine there too (but they are from last year's rally). I think he removed some images which is replaced by this ** Images remove at request of some jerk **. Sad person.

There's always the way that people deal with eBay ads that copy images by linking.... Keep the same filename, different picture though wink

I really couldn't comment wink

You wouldn't believe how many people cross link images in quite big sites. Usually the result of some pikey contractor coming in for a few days work and updating things on the cheap. Even seen people link to generic lines and boxes. I'll let your imagination takeover from here.... hehe

changing files but retaining the same name is great fun. Especially when the replaced image has some text on it which is due to offend the site owner.

Another good reason for retaining your own images on your own webspace and regularly reviewing the webstats to see where they're getting pulled from.

Yes thats how I discovered it...someone else has pinched my pix of Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas and put them on some sort of BEP fansite so as that is hosted by freeweb the site will be coming down
