Monthly Photo Comps

Please can we have a stickied post setting out the procedure for the monthly competitions.

(i) Must be own work

(ii) The winner from the previous month decides on topic for following month and judges by the end of the month

(iii) Two threads: Official thread to commence same time as unofficial chat thread

(iv) All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherance to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.

etc etc

There can be a link to miniman's site which lists the previous topics and winners.

Just something simple. Mrs Fish, is this possible?

Do we have any volunteers for being judge this month?
Poeple are still entering, just off to get mine in before it gets closed.

its a shame there is no poll option, another forum I use has a monthly comp and a voting poll - works as the voters are the judges, open to all the forum

when using judges its always down to personal taste however anyone tries to cut it

If no one else volunteers I'd do it (and discount my entry as it was only taken yesterday!) but I suspect I'm not good enough!

I dont think you should voluteer, your entry is a lovely picture and it would be a shame to discount it

OK, I have made a sticky with the above request, anyone want to add anything or amend it, post it here and I will update it
