Best place to buy additional camera batteries?
Discussion
Does anyone have any recommendations for the best place to buy replacement and/or additional camera batteries?
I need to buy another battery for my Canon EOS 350D
Also, should I go for the genuine Canon part or are compatible or "equivalent" brands ok? And if so, any to go for or any to avoid?
Thanks in advance
Jon

Ebay - the copies are about a £6-7. I've only had one which died all the others have been fine, a single genuine Canon one is about £50 if memory serves, so not worth it.
Steve.
Edit: It seems 350d batteries are dearer than 30D batteries - odd

I bought a couple of these just a few weeks ago from this seller:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FOR-CANON-350D-400D-KIT-G7-1...
for the princely sum of £4.49 each including P&P from the US!
Both charged OK and seem to work just fine in my camera so far, but I've not done a test to see how many photos they last for, or how many recharge cycles they take before dying, but for backup batteries I reckon they are pretty good value for money.

I bought 2 x Canon Compatible Digital Camera Battery - NB-2L - LCNV04D2 - EXTRA VALUE TWIN PACK @ £14.44 from www.7dayshop.com
I used one of them last Saturday at Biggin Hill and got 1000 shots out of it!
They seem to be OK, charge OK and hold their charge.

The 350D equivalent batteries are currently £11.99 for a twin-pack of NB2-LH equivalent (LCNV04D2) - just ordered now.
Good value, but since the postage price seems essentially fixed you do tend to load up a bit - I added an adaptor plate for a universal charger at £1.99 that I think may fit a universal charger I already have, a USB multi-card reader for £3.79 because I need one and you can't go far wrong at that price, and a 4Gb SanDisk Compact Flash card at £17.99 that I know isn't going to be that fast but will be good enough for boggo stuff (ie. snaps and product photos).
