I've got some footage from my nikon point and shoot that I'd like to edit.

After some googling I've found http://www.topdrawerdownloads.com/download/104350 which seems to do what I need.

I've found a suggestion you can do the same thing with Windows Movie Maker but I can't see how to do it?

Any suggestions or help greatfully received!! I'm using Studio 10 for normal video editing but it doesn't see the .mov files.

Provided Movie maker will open .mov files: (I haven't checked)

Open movie maker, import the .mov, shove the file into the timeline, save as, choose other settings, use avi

OK< I've downloaded the RAD tool and it seems to work. I couldn't "see" the file in Windows Movie Maker so couldn't add it to the timeline.

I'm playing with the RAD tool....will update you if it works!

"SUPER" will convert most any video file to another. Pretty much the only video converter you would ever need.
