Very minimalist, I must say. (The embedded photo wasn't showing up for me...)

But when I logged into Facebook and looked at the link... it seems decent, though the newspaper (?) in the foreground on the right distracts a bit, and it seems to suffer from whatever shrunk the photo, but otherwise it's decent. Very nice backdrop.

thanks v much, i hadnt even noticed that newspaper!

I used to have one of them - got through tyres like they were going out of fashion.

As for the photo - I think it would benefit from a little work in photoshop to darken the passenger window to the same as the rear windows... it would look a lot meaner!

Just a quick one then ... (although it appears to have lost some sharpeness in the crappy editing suite i used)

looks better with the front window tinted. great in b&w. the only thing i would say is that i'd have centered the car between the windows of the building. great location though. old building and modern car. gives a good contrast.

It looks like there's enough of the building that someone particularly skilled with cloning could do that...

If it wasn't an estate car, it would look spot on central!

yes

Might work better head on to the camera, slap bang between the windows.

i did start to have a go last night but it was getting late. i'd processed loads of shots that i took the other day and my eyes were going. i'll have a go later on if i get chance. i'd think it could be done easily and still look central under the peak of the roof.

the thing is, the car is pretty central. the problem is that the windows are not, and the car is not symmetrical.

Perhaps it would be better just to remove the overlapping window on the right?

If you're being really picky, the photos could be rotated around 1/3 degree to the left to straighten out the wall of the shed.
