As ever, you're proving that the tool is nothing more than that!! It's all in the eye of the photographer. yes Great stuff!

Yeah, The Boy Fish certainly did enjoy playing on it smile

As regards the horse, I haven't a clue what type it is, its the next door neighbours. The rider was practising for a competition today (pity about the rain) She has started to specialise in dressage.

Thanks for the comments.

Going to a wedding today, am gutted the weather is so crap so can't get the type of photos I was hoping for frown

Know that feeling - did some unofficial pics for the sister in laws wedding during the floods, haven't got a decent flash yet so a month later I am still editing red eye, etc. Even the carp swimming on the car park didn't come out!

Nice pics, I've just bought a TZ3 as well but I can't play with it yet as I ordered through amazon.com to my sister in America who I'm going to visit this week! Made quite a saving but I'll need to work out how I'm going to charge the battery when I'm back in the UK.

Is the charger not 110v-220v compliant? If so, you just need the 2 pin adaptor. If its 110v only, all you need is a stepdown converter(around a tenner from Maplin)

Great shots Mrs Fish. I was looking at this camera and now you have persuaded me that it may be worth the investment.

Thanks for that Mrs.F. I was thinking about that as a replacement to my Ixus 990.

Think I may just make the switch.. smile

I'm still getting to grips with it, I took 380 pictures on it at a wedding on saturday am still ploughing my way through them. It is not as good as my sony on indoor pictures, but it is great outside ones. There are so many features on it though, I kept changing settings for different pics but now can't remember what settings worked best :rolleye: oh well, I'm sure I'll get to grips with it soon smile

Hi - check if the camera stores the settings in the EXIF data included in the image file. Mine does... (Ricoh GX8)

Please let me know how you continue with it. The thing that really gets me is how sharp and vivid the results are for a compact. My Ixus is really good, but I felt really good as a compromise.

Something between the two I didn't immeditately realise is this is heavier and (a little) bulkier than the Canon.
