Went out to the beach yesterday and took some pictures. All taken with canon 400D and kit-lens.

Is that the 'Waverly' paddle steamer BTW? It was up here a couple of months ago.

Yeah it's the waverley, wish id had my longer lens with me but only had the kit lens, I think it sails quite often from largs and along past arran.

Really like 3, I hope this isn't taken the wrong way but did you do any processing with the colour on 1 ? (I'm still fairly new to digital photography)

Waverley sails from just down the road from me, I've often wondered if you can ride it all the way up to Scotland but I suspect not. I think it alternates with 'Balmoral' at different locations.

Cant really remember, probably increased the saturation a bit and might have changed the hue slightly but nothing major. It was darker and more orange than in 2 straigtht from the camera.
