What is the largest print that can be made from a picture that is 3504x2336, without compromising the quality?

Mmm!? Depends on lots of factors - like what is your viewing distance?

General rule of thumb is that anything down to 150dpi gives reasonable quality at normal viewing distances, so that would give a max print size of approx 24 x 15 inches.

Normal distance, like if it were hanging on a wall.

I've printed 30" x 20" from much less than the resolution you mention, and it looks great.

With Photoshop's bicubic interpolation, you could zoom it up to the size of the house side and not know what it's original resolution was. If you add some artificial noise then the resolution might appear higher than it originally was, without compromising the actual image.

I regularly print up to 44" wide prints at that resolution. Mostly OK but there can be slight blurring/pixelation at times.

Thanks.

How do I interpolate it? I use Photoshop CS2 if that helps
