Canon Camera USB WIA Driver for Windows Vista

[gizard]

Hi there all,
I have just got a new Ultra Mobile PC which has Vista. I have installed the above driver from the canon Website in order to download files from my 20D - It appears not to allow direct drive / removable storage access like it used to in XP - it provides a thumbnail view and then if you select to download the files it dumps them into word and gives you no choice has anyone else had expierence of this Canon / Vista?

Think I will have to get my self a CF card reader.

Had the same thing with my 350D, change the communication mode to Printer connection rather than PC and it might work, certainly did for me.
