Emperor Penguins, yesterday.

Hello!
Here's a couple of shots I managed to get yesterday at an Emperor colony that breeds just down the coast from here. After traveling 20km across the ice shelf and climbing down the ice cliffs we walked 2km to the breeding area and spent a couple of hours lying in penguin poo on the ice. Worth it for a few nice pictures.

Then I saw the name and it all became crystal clear.


I like the low angle of the first, and the big and little Pingu in the 2nd. Were pictures 3 and 4 scanned in?

Hi.
Sorry about the quality, they are very low res and not on a good hosting site, they get compressed very badly. I'm no pro at all but I don't like sticking up high res versions for anyone to take so only put up crappy ones! I really should research a proper photograph hosting site, would be better.

ISO was at 100, Canon 20d. The originals look a lot better!
