Hi all,

I've found a very good Nikon only dealer in London.
Great service and helpful staff.

Can anyone recommend me via email or pistonheads message a similar canon only dealer pls ?

Would be ideal if they have a London shop.

Thanks !

York Cameras in London (near British Museum) deals mainly with Canon, although not 100% Canon specialist.

Calumet - near Euston station

Well worth a look, though not Canon only

They are also in Wardor Street, just off Oxford street. I walked past them on a visit to London last weekend smile

York Cameras may well stock anything and everything Canon, but the service leaves pretty much
EVERYTHING to be desired - never been treated with such contempt in my life, spoken to like
a shoplifter rather than a photographer with money to spend. I now go out of my way to avoid that bunch
of grumpy old men.

Calumet Drummond Street is the main site in London, with the most stock. Friendly i use them all the time.

BTW, i assume the OP was talking about Grays of Westminster - a little out of the way, and now facing serious
competition for used kit from a good few other specialists...

Thanks.

I've used Warehouse E, Calumet and Grays of Westminister.

Price is not the only factor. You pay for knowledge & experience as well.

Thanks again everyone !

You could always try David Leung in Ilford.

Always comes across as a bit eccentric to me, with his quite heavy, high pitched Chinese accent, in a shop groaning with shelves of old cameras and bits and bobs. IIRC he's Canon only but will trade other stuff S/H.
