Thought I'd post up some landscapes of Rouen.

Never really a man for landscapes but I had fun taking these.

I have come to the conclusion that, what I see everyday, I don't find special enough to photograph. But what I see when I travel, is new and exciting so worth a photograph.

Very nice shots David, the lighthouse and the last one are my fav's. What lenses were you using with the 20D?

I was using the Canon 17-85IS. Only the last one used a tripod.

Most of them were taken with the use of a polariser as well.

Are you sure that's Rouen? It's looks nothing like it.

Hahah got me. I spelt the thread title wrong! So if a mod could change it to Royan.

It's Ile d'Oléron near, Royan.

I was thinking that Rouen is a bit near Le Mans, but it's the only one that could come to my mind.

Wasn't 100% when I wrote it but it was late.
