Please help me! i am in search of a portable media player which i can listen to music, view videos, store photos etc. Essential criteria is;
Price - Around 200 pounds
Screen - High quality
Sd Slot - Would be nice
great sound quality

Some models which i have looked at are the Creative zen vision W (most likely, just the fact that the screen isnt that great), Archos 605 (requires lots of plug-ins etc so cost is too high) Epson P-3000

Thanks guys smile

That's what I use. Ipod 80Gb, apple camera adapter, and a USB card reader. Stick the CF card into the card reader, into the camera adapter, into the iPod, and choose import pictures.

Job done, and I can listen to music & watch videos...

I heard the transfer is slow, how do you find it?

Can you listen to music while transferring?

Thanks

That's what I've got, and I'm really happy with t but for one thing...the battery runs out way too quickly.

It's VERY slow to transfer, but works OK

No, it "takes over" the ipod, so that's all it can do until completed, so no music or video until transfer completed.

That said it's a handy backup, and has saved my bacon a few times...

Best thing about the Epsons - they support more RAW Formats than any other media viewer.
Do not underestimate the importance of this - Canon have mad e a major faux-pas by only supporting
their own RAW format in their M80 viewer - little do they know that a massive number of their pro clients
use PhaseOne, Leaf and Hasselblad/Imacon DBs alongside their DSLRs.
RAW is rthe industry standard, there's no way my archive's gonna be JPEG.
