A few photos from the Alford sprint (Aberdeenshire) yesterday.

Subaru Impreza attacking the first corner

Custom mini pick-up (Hona bike engine) locks up under braking

Very nice Caterham 7 R500

Caterhams were popular yesterday, this one is driven by a lady and later hit the haybales.

This Gould racing car is huge and takes up most of the track width - brutally quick in a straight line!

Fastest car of the day - Wallace Menzies in his DJ Firehawk, setting a new track record. It uses a supercharged Motorcycle engine and sort of looks like an F1 Ferrari. Running without the rear bodywork yesterday for some reason.

You don't always get the timing right when panning cars at travelling 60mph using a 400mm lens wink

Lots more here if anyone is interested:

Nice pics.

The red nail with the lady driver is a Westfield though, not a Caterham /nerd
