Last Sunday myself and a few friends were invited along to watch the BTRDA Rallycross penultimate round at Blyton, Lincolnshire.

Weather was warm, sun was out with the occasional cloud and we had a fantastic day. Our friend Asa Fatchett was racing his Peugeot 205 GTI which has been heavily modified and had 4 very excellent heats.

He knew from the start that he wouldn't win any races, as there was an Audi TT in his class that had over 60k spent on it as apposed to Asa's 6k, but Asa did well to hold him off for 4 whole laps by out breaking him into corners.

I have just found out that the Audi TT has been disqualified as he didn't enter his registration, so thats another win this weekend.

I am off to croft for the last round on the 21st and he should hopefully claim his second championship win.

It was a great day Jim, was there any news on that Saxo horror crash?

Nice pics!

I used to go to rallycross down at Lyden quite regularly as a kid as my Dad was an accredited 'tog down there. Great days!
