A quick question to those experienced with this product.

I have plugged in the bullet cam and got a picture in the vcr menu, however it is black and white. is this normal?, or is there a setting i need to make it colour?

I use a sony hc96e camera

It's either shagged or either your camera or camcorder are NTSC.

NTSC - US (and Canada and elsewhere) TV format.
It's a different format to the UK (we use PAL) so when you view NTSC programmes on a UK (PAL) set they aren't in colour.

can i change this setting?

i bought the camera through a website/company that was based in the uk - so i am assuming it is not ntsc.

i can download normal video off it onto my computer with no problems.

sony hc96e is the camera

Yep - I would imagine you just have it set up to record NTSC rather than PAL.
