Nikon warranty
Discussion
Hi folks,
Just bought a D70s from ebay - it's basically new, only a few test shots taken, everything boxed and packaged up as new.
it comes with the original uncompleted warranty cards, so I'm wondering if I can use it if necessary?
I know they're non transferrable and should have been filled in at time of original purchase, but the fact that they haven't been filled in might stand me in good stead?
Basically I think I'm going to email Nikon and see if they'll give me some sort of goodwill warranty - what do people think? Hiding to nothing?
If it doesn't work out it's no great problem, it was no more expensive than properly second hand ones were going anyway!
