Well I'm no Ansel Adams, but some inspiration rubbed off. I've several hundred from three days visit, but I like these best. C&C welcome.

Funnily enough the missus-to-be and I were just talking about going to Yosemite for our honeymoon next year.

Its numbers 3 and 4 that get my vote too. Very nice...

JFDI - it's a lovely place. yes We also visited King's Canyon and Sequoia, not quite so well known to the south - a bit more solitude in those places. Only thing is, we're visiting sort of off season, so it's a bit quieter in all these places, and pot-luck that the weather's not turning.

We're now in Zion National Park (another stunning place) and going to Bryce Canyon National Park tomorrow....

I found it to be a bit "disney" really. Here's a nice manicured path to a nice lake with a nice bus to take you back afterwards. Maybe that's due to going there straight from 2 weeks in the Canadian rockies, being there on LaboUr day weekend didn't help though.

Definitely don't stay at Yosemite Loge. Vastly overpriced tatty 'hotel', food is very poor and i had things stolen from our room by the cleaning staff. Butlins for £600 a night basically.
