Going up to Glasgow on Sunday and then driving up to Avimore (or thats the plan atm) for the night on Monday or Tuesday.

Where should we go to take snaps up there? Any classic shots we must get?

Looking at the weather forecast, I suggest waterfalls.

Not sure if this fits in with the plans but we LOVE this place (near Stirling) http://www.cromlixhouse.com/

ETA

FYI These were all taken from the A9 (the road to Avimore)... not 750 wide, sorry.

Atholl Palace at Blair Atholl just of the A9 is a cracking picture although you get a better view of it heading south. I think it's just south of Aviemore.
There are lots of great scenery around aviemore and on the way up the A9.
Sorry I can't be more specific as I am normally in a hurry up / down the A9 so don't really go of the beaten track. But one thing I can tell you is you won't be dissapointed with the views.

enjoy your stay.

Oh, and the House of Bruar just north of pitlochry is a nice stop for food and shopping you'll drive past it on the way up. well signposted.

Might be worth posting in the Scotland forum also.

Will get a chance to give the new Ricoh R7 a good thrishing too.

All batteries currently changing. smile

If you're going to the house of Bruar it would be rude not to take some photos of the falls smile
