I'm looking to replace my Pentax S5i which, due to an unfortunate skiing accident, has a cracked screen.

Original plan was to just find a replacement S5i on Ebay around the £60-£80 mark because I was generally pretty happy with it. Long story short, there is very little choice of the Pentax ones on Ebay so I thought I'd see if its worth looking at other models.

I'm not a photographer at all. This is basically snapshots. I did find the video function useful though and I'd like unlimited video on whatever I get, but main priority is something simple that'll give good results without trying too hard. Any thoughts on something I could pick up new/secondhand around the sub £80 mark?

ETA

I'm watching the following ones on Ebay at the moment. No idea what they'll go for.

Ixus 800
Nikon S3
Ricoh R4
Ixus 65
Nikon S5
Pentax S5i

Some of the Fuji compacts give good results.

you're not going to go too far wrong with any of them if you only need snapshots. When I can't easily take my SLR and lenses then I've got an Ixus 400 (so, yes, quite old now) but the results are great and if you do want to play you've still got reasonable control over exposure etc. They're peanuts on Ebay. 4Mb in one of these is perfectly good for 6x4s and larger and as long as you've got a decent size compact flash card, the video is fine too.
