The first of 2 posts tonight in this forum!
Cross posted these from the Yorkshire forum - be interested to know what you photo types think.
Taken a couple of weeks ago at the RAC in Dalby forest, N. Yorkshire. I used a borrowed Compact Olympus jobbie, mostly crap but I got a few nice ones. It was so cold that the battery kept dying!
Anyway... a few of my favourites, based on nothing factual or scientific at all - I guess thats the way photography should be.
All I've done is hit the auto levels in Picasa and cropped them a bit.
I would query what the colours are like on them - my screen is fecked so I imagine im not seeing what you are.
Love to know what you think - I'm quite chuffed with some of them.

i like 9 very much
the rest are good - i think you'd have got *much* better results with a dSLR - where you could adjust the shutter speed.
the colours do look a little washed out, but i think mainly all they really lack is that sense of action (although 7, 10 and 12 are not bad in this respect), which you would have got with a slightly slower shutter speed.
on the whole - nice pics!
just my 2p and i'm sure others will be along soon.
